La Souffleuse

La Centrale, Montréal, June 21-23, 2007

Three evenings of performed drawings, viewed from outside the gallery windows, on St-Laurent Boulevard. Using an old-fashioned overhead projector, little intimate drawings and shadow-gestures became magnified and amplified out to the street. The audience witnessed the layering of narratives, as images and words emerged and were then wiped away. Although the piece was improvised, the source was a story about a woman who leaves her child behind in a theatre.
