The Mobile Museum /
Le petit musée itinérant

This project consisted of 2 parts: a series of outdoor performances (a remedy for forgetting) in front of an old shop, and an indoor performance-installation. Both were inspired by the same shop, reflecting on empathy for a place, loss, disappearance, memory, nostalgia, gentrification, change… I carried a cardboard vitrine to a particular shop in my neighborhood, then set it up outside and performed various actions, such as drawing and writing messages with a tiny pencil and then handing miniature archives to the audience.

Materials: cardboard, glass, wool blanket, handmade cardboard boxes, paper, pencil.
