Souffles
Souffles is a collaborative project by Vida Simon and Jack Stanley. In its present form, Souffles is an exhibition-event space located in a former sewing factory in Montreal. This empty skylit room holds visual art, performances, artists’ talks, poetry readings, discussions, and other activities that are difficult to name. Souffles evolved from a room under the stairs (1996-2000), a gallery located in our former apartment.
Recent activities:
• April 7, 2007, 8pm: music by violinist/composer Malcolm Goldstein, Fragments of the Wall;
• April 15, 2007, 3pm: book launch for poet Erin Moure’s O Cadoiro, published by Anansi.
